Design brief and site appraisal - establishing your requirements and ideal garden. Identifying the different areas in the garden and their challenges and benefits: what to screen, what to highlight, how it flows from the inside space, and where you will want to spend your time.

Site Survey - For most gardens, the survey can be in-house. If the site is particularly large or complex, a topographical survey may need to be undertaken by an external surveying company.

Moodboard/suggested materials and features - To further gauge your preferences I will go through some possible example themes and hardlandscaping materials to establish a design base to explore.

Draft plan if required - Some projects that include a lot of features, such as garden buildings or driveway spaces may require a draft stage to establish their positions and scale prior to the masterplan.

Production of the masterplan and 3D visuals - Presentation of the proposals with a layout masterplan and accompanying visuals to fully exhibit the finished look. Sometimes, various options of the design are produced where I feel there are multiple routes to follow from the design brief.

Measurement Plan - To help your landscaper produce a quotation for your design a measurement plan will form the basis of the setting out plan and material quantities.

Project management and tender - The majority of domestic projects do not require project management or a tender process but I can still be available to offer support and advice. For large-scale or commercial projects, this element is priced on a case-by-case basis.
